Eucharistic Prayer. English Mass.
(See also Latin Mass below.)

Priest: The Lord be with you. Reply: And also with you.

Priest: Lift up your hearts. Reply: We lift them up to the Lord.

Priest: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. Reply: It is right to give him thanks and praise.

Father, it is our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks
through your beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

He is the Word through whom you made the universe, the Savior you sent to redeem us.

By the power of the Holy Spirit
he took flesh and was born of the Virgin Mary.

For our sake he opened his arms on the cross; he put an end to death
and revealed the resurrection. In this he fulfilled your will
and won for you a holy people.

And so we join the angels and the saints in proclaiming your glory as we (sing) say:

Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

PREX EUCHARISTICA (Eucharistic Prayer).

Priest: Dominus vobiscum. Reply: Et cum spiritu tuo.

Priest: Sursum corda. Reply: Habemus ad Dominum.

Priest: Gratias agamus Domino Deo nostro.

Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus Dominus Deus Sabaoth. Pleni sunt caeli et terra gloria tua.
Hosanna in excelsis. Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini. Hosanna in excelsis.

Deliver Us, Lord.

Deliver us, Lord, from every evil,
and grant us peace in our day.
In your mercy keep us free from sin
and protect us from all anxiety
as we wait in joyful hope
for the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Act of Contrition.

O My God, I am heartily sorry for having offended you,
and I detest all my sins, because of your just punishments,
but most of all because they offended you, my God,
who are all-good and deserving of all my love.
I firmly resolve, with the help of your grace,
to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin.
Amen.

Confession Prayer.

I confess to almighty God,
and to you, my brothers and sisters,
that I have sinned through my own fault in my thoughts and in my words,
in what I have done,
and in what I have failed to do;
and I ask blessed Mary, ever virgin, all the angels and saints,
and you, my brothers and sisters,
to pray for me to the Lord our God.
