“Ora et Labora” words into action. Works of Mercy or charitable actions aid the human family in their bodily and spiritual needs. ( Hebrews 6:10 )
“For God is not so unjust as to overlook your work and the love which you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do.”
Confirming someone in sin, or neglecting your duty of preaching the Gospel, is not charity. Besides feeding the hungry, clothing the naked,
visiting the sick and imprisoned and sheltering the homeless, we need to do something for the eternal salvation of our brothers and sisters. ( 1 Corinthians 9:16 ) “For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!”
